911 Refugee children being cared for and educated
For these children who have suffered from the affects of war and poverty, the community-based care provided has meant that they have had the opportunity to attend school whilst being well cared for in a nurturing environment.
62 New health workers trained in 2014 to provide care to children
Rural communities across Shan State are benefitting from the increasing standard of healthcare provided by the Community Health Workers, Basic Medics and Advanced Medics being trained through this project.
1,258 Schools in Karen State receiving education supplies
The provision of materials in schools is coming alongside coordinated support from other organisations to provide 5,948 teachers with subsidies, helping build a stronger education system for 141,632 students to benefit from.
