This #GivingTuesday we’re stocking clinics in conflict zones that will save kid’s lives.
In Myanmar, 1 in every 7 kids will die before their fifth birthday. Because the death of any child from preventable disease is unacceptable, we’re accepting the challenge to fund 7 clinics in areas where decades of war have left thousands of kids without access to health care.

How are we going to make this happen?
Providing access to treatment.
We’ll give remote communities better access to treatment by stocking seven clinics in rural areas of eastern Myanmar with medicines needed to treat sick kids and reduce the incidence of preventable diseases.
Educating for prevention.
We’ll train health workers who’ll travel to remote villages for patients visits and to provide education on sanitation, maternal health, malaria control and other important health topics aimed at preventing illness.
Children £40
Health Worker £365
A Clinic £3,700
“I am really thankful to the health workers in the clinic. It is really helpful for my family.”
When Kyaw Htee Ker’s wife passed away, he suddenly found himself left with three young children to care for on his own. “My youngest was only one and three months and was still breastfeeding.” With a sick baby and unable to afford formula, he walked 4 hours to Noh Yoe Hta Clinic for treatment. The health workers gave him a supply of formula as well as medicine to treat his son, ensuring one tragedy did not grow into another.

Let’s get kids in conflict areas better access to health care.
Because we want to see more of them making it to their fifth birthday and experiencing the free, full lives God wants for them this #GivingTuesday.
