After the global pandemic put much of our work in Iraq on hold in 2020, our team rapidly scaled up our projects, rebuilding schools, providing trauma counseling to children, delivering food and water to displaced families and actively empowering more young girls to restore some of the freedom and dignity they had before the war.
...children took part in our trauma care program through our local partners Panaga and Inhalation of Hope, which included art therapy, character building activities, along with lessons in music, dance, hygiene and English.

...participated in Female Health & Hygiene trainings and English classes, aimed at bringing dignity and hope to those who had suffered under ISIS.

...students returned to class after local partners completed the rebuild of two schools.
