Our goal is simple: a year of health care for Rohingya refugees, by Rohingya refugees. This means training them as health workers who will fight malnutrition, distribute medicine and provide healing to one of the world’s most persecuted people groups.Donate Now

A few years ago, our team noticed something...
32 health centers for more than 1 million Rohingya refugees left thousands of people without basic health care. We wondered if many health issues could be diagnosed and treated by a team trained by our medical staff. We decided to find out...
What if that team were refugees themselves who could treat fellow refugees in their own language and with a shared experience?
Our medical staff teaches them nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, maternal health and infant care, then empowers them to provide basic health care for their community.
Community Health Worker Responsibilites:
How You Can Help
We need your help to raise $80,000 to fully fund this project.
This means a whole year of infant nutrition packs to guarantee babies live to their first birthdays, a whole year of young refugees being trained and hired to diagnose and treat other refugees and a whole year of all the medicine thousands of people need. Because if ever this program was needed, the middle of a pandemic is that time.

Frequently Asked Questions
How will my donation be used?
When you make a donation, it is specifically used to fund our Rohingya Community Health Worker project, which includes training volunteers and teachers from the Rohingya community to develop basic health care and nutrition skills. Your donation will also provide medicine for these community health workers to distribute at small mobile clinics and home visits they undertake, pay for infant nutrition packs distributed to Rohingya families who have limited access to nutritious food for their children and help cover the costs of treating more serious illnesses for refugees that are referred to local hospitals. Funds raised above our goal will be redirected to our Rohingya emergency relief project which operates in the same communities.
Will I be sent a receipt for my donation?
Yes, when making a donation via credit card, a receipt will be sent to the email address provided within an hour.
